Robbery, by a different name - THE WEEK Uhhh, every last dollar in the economy is loaned to us at interest by the federal reserve, you knew that when you signed up, and if you didn't know that its because you're short sighted and uninterested.
You just figured its all ok because you'd get someone else to pay.
You people are not worth saving. You deserve the nightmare you've brought on yourselves, with your greed, and your fear. You want to own your wives and your children like so much meat. You let the TV tell you its ok to be lazy and stupid and trivial and brutal.
The era of instant information is here. You have no one to blame but yourself for not asking, and not listening even when you ask. You prop those up who tellyou what you want to hear despite knowing deep down its a lie. You hope maybe if enough people lie with you it will become true.
You. Are. Mistaken.
You shut out all data that you don't like, data that paints you as responcible, data that warns you of hard brutal work to come, if not for you than your children, data that shares with you the pain of those you feed on. You will soon know the cost of submitting to the selfish gene despite the knowledge to fight it and the ability to win.
You run your collective mouth about whats natural and what's right. Justifying all your inequity. You coddle your desire to sit atop the food chain even though it has blinded you to the fact that a free person has no need for chains. You'll be dragged into the depths by the weight of your own voluntary incompetence.
You were warned and you attacked the messenger.
You have failed. Drive your SUVs into oblivion. Tell yourself as you die, what the songs and the TV tell you, that it doesn't matter how monstrously you've behaved since you had a "family". Pretend your imaginary friend will welcome you into a garden of eternal delight, pretend you'll be remembered as a hero, pretend your descendants will be rich for all time. and all it cost was a life of apathy, brutal ruthlessness, and blind patriotism.
You are the skins cells covering the back of a monster that cares about as much for you as you care for nail clippings.
It's all connected.
I was a fool to think I was exposing something you don't see. I was a fool to think that you'd care, you'd rise up, you'd help me fix it, if only you knew.
But you've known all along, you just don't care. And whats more, you think that makes you cool.
I will live. And if I do not I will die knowing I have done right. I need no justification from your God, your Country, or your Money. My independence makes me insane.
